Stephenvenning true matey! Speed I was carrying wouldn't have been nice straight onto the barrier that's for sure! Luckily the angle was kind to me that I just glance off!

you've been on a while mate just didn't want to tell ya

Saw this the other night and I did wonder after hearing the tales! Like has been said, could have been a lot worse watching those other mishaps.

Trust is the key to friendship Gam haha. I wasn't going to say a peep lol. Was just for your entertainment lol.

Oh god, slightly unnerving when I'm considering going to the trip next year :<

It happens mate it most certainly won't put me off going back there!

Bloody hell mate that was close! How did it happen?

The BMW in front as you can see from the video wasn't quite going the speed that I was so he moved out the way and off the line to let me through, he then decided he wanted to pull back on so I had to hit the anchors and at the point of the track I done it it just sent me sideways like you see. It was kind of the lesser of to evils. Smack him up the bum and have a LARGE bill for mine and his or give the armco some attention.

All in all repairs cost me £310 so not so bad!

'Technically' speaking, you shouldn't be trying to set lap times on a Tourist day anyway, as it is what it says, a Tour of the track.

There's buses and all sorts known to be on there during a tourist day. I'd love to do a DN Trackday there. But that's a bit extreme atm lol

£310 is not bad at all for a Ring damage. I wouldn't even class it as an accident haha

On a serious note I'm really glad it ended as ''lightly'' as this mate. That's the tricky thing with the ring I guess, you don't know what the other are going to do and such a difference in speed in between cars..
