- Handbrake cable stretched
- front tyres bald
- rear tyres flats potted
- a rod put through the block with it banging the limiter
- no doubt issues with gearbox also

IMO i think the most he would do would be HB cables if they went, and new tyre's if they were goosed. The gearbox - well its pot luck if it lasts or not, and as for the engine, its hitting the limiter - not going to make it go bang unless there is an underlying problem. Got to think how many people take there clios out and thrash them, no difference IMO, just its 1st and 2nd gear.
