Winter tyres

I am planning on getting a set of winter tyres for the clio

I have seen these on ebay.

The tyres on the car are 215 45 17, will 215 50 17 be ok?

Rather, I would advise fitting 205/50/R17 tyres for winter conditions.. Better than 215/50..
