Wheel Wobble. Related to Power Flex Mount?

The Renault specialist I use recommended I upgrade the upper torque mount arm to a Powerflex version instead of OEM on my 197.
I realise that as the mount is much harder, more vibrations will be felt but I didn't realise that at motorway speeds the wheel-wobble would be so bad that I don't want to drive the car. I've had the wheels balanced in 2 different garages and both confirmed that the tyres themselves are ok. Has anyone else experienced this? Tempted to go back to the OEM mount and see if that cures it.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I actually doubt that the "wheel wobble" is related to the new mount. That simply doesn't fits together.

Can’t possibly be wheel wobble if it began straight after fitting the engine mount. Only thing that makes sense is something un balanced in your engine and the stiffer mount has emphasised it but I can’t imagine that’s the case

I don't think the problem is related to the top torque mount and I bet it did not happen the day after the mount was changed I would hope that you join the forum soon it's £5 it's not much to ask.

If other engine mounts are worn it may emphasis engine movement through the worn mounts but I cant see how it would affect wheels. Hit a pothole and got a slightly buckled wheel?
