Whats that box for?

There's a smaller pipe coming off the large air intake pipe on the standard system . It goes down towards the battery into a what I can only describe as a small enclosed box ?! What's it for ?

acoustic valve

they say its purpose is to reduce the engine intake noise

Resonator box.
Suposed to reduce drive by noise for EU rules.
Mine has been bypassed with new intake pipes.

The accoustic valve is on the right of the battery isn't it !? A resonator box hmmm did it make any differance bypassing it jase?

Would think so. When i had a Puntosporting, i bypassed it, and it gave a nice bark lol!

i have mine screwed shut and the main inlet pipe has all its small holes sealed up so it draws all its air form behind the o/s headlight :thumbup1:

i noticed the other day it has small holes all the way up the main pipe what wise guy designs these things lol
