Updates of my Gordini [No. 434]

Just a few quick snaps I got when picking it up. Traveled over 2 hours to pick No. 434 up from Arnold Clark Renault in Wigan on my 21st birthday 2 days ago. Nice little treat for myself. The dealer even gave me the steering wheel insert as a birthday present

Phone pic while the tank was getting £70 worth of fuel:

Stopped for some munch on the way home so grabbed a few pictures under the stations lights:

My old man fighting the wind on the motor way for some pictures, shocking but worth a quick look:

Then fitted silvertecs to the front. Going to do the back when it's dry:

Unfortunately my black Speedlines didn't get to the dealer in time but I'm getting those sent to me soon!

Looks great mate though I think all that blue is a bit OTT.
Once you get the black speedlines on she'll look even better!

Thanks for posting pics.

Ahh, cool.

I don't like the shape of mine and it's gone white already from my gloves (track, not stringback Gene Hunt style!).

I'd seen this on the 'bay, but wasn't sure what it'd be like. Seems it's the same as yours but with Renaultsport insead of Gordini. Win.

There's loads of other stuff I hadn't noticed too, like the piano black and the white rev counter. Nice touches.

Will see if mr Geeekio can find me one. Many thanks.

Thats because you skimmed past my 300 photo cleaning session thread. :swear::biggrin:

Ha ha ha!!!!

It's only because I live in the countryside and it gets filthy just pulling off the drive, I've lost the will to live when it comes to cleaning. At least you drive yours too, and not just polish it!

love it, although i'd get the wheels coated black or just plain silver. IMO they are some of the worst factory designed wheels i've ever seen lol

Car is awesome though!

Cheers guys. Wheels are going, they shouldn't of been on the car but my Speedlines got delayed. Can't wait for them to get here.

If anyone is interested m plans for the next week are:

- 6k HIDs to put in the projector headlights
- Xenon white interior lights and number plate lights (might leave the interior though)
- Alloy footrest
- Remove Clio badge
- Spray the vents above the wheels satin black
- Speedlines and spray centre caps black
- Winter protection detail (Maybe tomorrow!)

Looks good. Will be much better when the speedlines are on.

Did you have to pay extra for the speedlines? Are they taking your Gordini wheels back?

Yes, I am buying them new, I've got a good price on them though. I'll probably keep the Gordini wheels for when I sell it on.
