Tempted to buy one!

Selling my CTR this week (2007), was all set to buy a diesel and save some ££ on fuel bills, but I'm not sure I can go through with it! Nearly bought a 197 before the civic.

Anyone local to Somerset (yeovil-ish) that wants to take me for a spin?

dont buy a 197 if you want to save money lmao, ull get the tuning bug and end up spending more than just money on fuel

The 197 isnt cheap to run mate, and with fuel prices on the rise to a stupid level its getting to the point where i leave mine in the garage every weekend in favour of my birds Twingo GT.

What's a tank cost to fill, average miles out of it?

On the Civic it's about £50 for 250 miles

Every drop that has been through that car is accounted for!

£65 of V Power gets me about 330 miles - give or take!

57-65 to fill and u get about 270miles well I do

£50 to £60 to fill. 300 miles max depending on the drive! Petrol is expensive to run, but to get similar performance on a deisel you will have a lrge outlay unless you buy a high mileage car! Clio197 is great value for money. High performance deisel will be much more for same age same mileage; and much less fun!
