Squeaky Cup Spoiler

Hi Guy's,

My Cup spoiler has developed the most annoying squeak, I think the pads underneath part of it have perished and I keep tightening the bolts but it seems to work its way loose. Most annoying bloody squeak, anyone got any ideas? I was going to take the whole thing off today and refit but the weathers gone to pot over here.

Had this on my 200 - wasn't a squeak but a annoying little rattle.

I just undid the bolts and put some rubber ring / rubber washer things on then tightened it back up. Was fine ever since

Do you have nylon washers on the bolts?

Don't think so mate, just had a look and where they've drilled through and waterproofed with silicone or whatever I can see one. Was thinking about seeing you about a new set just to renew the bolts anyway

You used thread lock to ensure the bolts stay tight?

[MENTION=28748]HarryH321[/MENTION] drop me a PM I can sort you out with a new kit, you'll get the Nylon washers, so that'll seal the bolts better as you can tighten into them.
