Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Few small updates here that really weren't worth documenting. But i think i have come to a conclusion on seating. This week at least and until the wind changes direction......

My personal dislike for the standard Recaro CS's in known. On reflection that is perhaps in part unjust. Its my hate of the frailty of the standard cloth trim that i just couldnt handle and wouldn't want.

So looks like i will be doing this via the the purchasing of a pair of standard Renault CS seats and then going down the custom leather retrim route. Unless a suitable set turns up......

Right now a fairly OEM / plain mono-colour look it what appeals. My car is kinda OEM+ looking with nothing too outlandish and having the possibility of removing and selling a plain'ish looking pair on; come car-change time (whilst reverting back to standard) - would make sense financially bearing in mind what they may end up costing and the high resale values second hand.

Going to be hard not to go a little bit out-there though when the World is your Oyster.

Between upcoming family hols, buying my son his first car and a New York trip; what's more important right now is funding the things. I do have something kicking around i havn't used in years, i've debated selling for a while and would currently pay for the whole shebang. We'll see how long the scrimping and saving takes and how my impatience fares i guess !!

Meanwhile; some leather seat Porn.....mainly inspired my @///M

I think your car deserves the very best when it comes to seats to match up with the rest of the car.

I'm far from an expert but those seats above done out in leather look very very nice (& expensive):grinning:

Go for it...

That's an expensive road you're heading down mate, take it from me  It will look great finished though and transform your interior so go for it

Some really nice pics above but is it just me or does it look wrong having a front armrest with CSs?

I think standard black leather would look really good and will always sell. When I went out in the Raider the other weekend with Steve Murr, I was impressed with how a CS can be so practical if the covering was made of a durable material. I think they had a bit more give in them too as my buns were more than happy planted in them, and ZERO wear on the bolster. Impressive!
