just found this through the search as my new local dealer (Millers in falmouth) are going to take pics of it, write a report and file it off to Renault UK. So fingers crossed, i'm going to print this thread though as more back up the better, just hope their helpfullness isn't to do with me just spending £210 on 2 new keycards....

Worth mentioning that a few people in this list had the damage sorted within anti corrosion warranty and without having their cars checked for corrosion on an annual basis.

Fortunately not on my car, but when I was looking to buy a Clio last year, of the 2 black Clio's I saw (197's) both had rust and bubbling just below the rear wiper.

I've had mine repaired under warranty. Glad I work for a dealer and got it sorted along with the roof rails. Photos of mine are attached;

Mine was done too, and also for free on the anti corrosion warranty after the 3year main warranty had expired.
Initially the dealership went in to their default you must pay for everything attitude, but a full dealer history back then meant no squirming out!!

Cheers Eddie. I talked to Renault UK and I have to say they were extremely helpful. It only took an hour for someone from the local dealership to call me and arrange for pictures to be taken. We'll see how it goes
