RS200 Racing Blue

Superb buy. All the right bits!

Agreed on the badges, silver looks so much cleaner. I'd bin the RS200 sticker too, just stick with the new-style RS one.

<< That one.

So I recently purchased a retrimmed steering wheel from Royal Steering Wheels, the work is really good I am very impressed. Secondly I have had the car machine polished as there were lots of swirl marks, managed to get most of them out so looks really great. I decided to go out and take a few photos of the latest developments. I will be looking to replace the renault diamond back to standard soon, as far I can gather I need to remove the bumper :unamused:. Anyways check out the latest photos. Thanks.

Looks superb and in the best colour IMO. If I get one then this is what I'd like it to look like.

Sorry if I missed it but what is your stance setup?
What lowering springs and spacers have oh got?

Sits perfectly imo [emoji1419]

Thanks man. Took me about 18 months to find one with the Recaro seats and the wing in racing blue! Well worth being patient though, they just don't come up very often so if you see one get in there quick!

Thanks, the height is just right and not too low I never have to worry about speed bumps. I think it is on 30mm H&R lowering springs and it doesn't have spacers to my knowledge. Will check after work. The trouble is I brought the car from Honda Vertu in Sunderland but the previous owner didn't bring in all the paperwork to the dealer so not exactly sure until he sends it all through to me. Once I know I will forward the info on

I definitely think they look a lot further out than mine. My wheels seem way sunk into the arch and look tragic imo.

Here, my wheels look much more sunk into the arch while yours seem perfectly flush with the edge of it.
E.g I think if I dropped mine to the floor the wheels would be behind the arch whereas yours would hit the lip of it (if that makes any sense) lol

Ok so I had a look and it's running 20mm spacers at the rear, none at the front. It did have a H&R sticker on the back window so I guess that's a no brainer, just not sure on the drop.

That's great. Thanks for checking that out.

Need to get mine sitting like that.... selling your spring and spacers by any chance? [emoji23]

Still need to get them priced up properly and finally decide on spacers all round. Now that the holidays are over and money's available again lol

After 6 months of ownership, the car developed a creak when turning the wheel, I had taken out a warranty through Bristol Street Motors so I had hoped that whatever the issue was they would be able to sort some of it out. The car was taken into Perfect Touch Performance in Hoddesdon, to which on inspection informed me of a few problems! I attached the final invoice.

My first thought was "Oh F***" lol, luckily for me Bristol Street Motors warranty I took out for £400 is superb and they paid for all the track rod parts, anti roll bars, hub assemblies and the labour which totalled £1476.80 :grinning::openmouth:

I also added a set of Yokohama AD08r' all round. All of the steering component issues had knocked the front tyres out completely much to my amazement as the outside of the front tyres had 2-3mm of tread left. I guess that's what happens when all the steering components are knackered.

Better experience than I had with warranties on a previous car! Glad BSM sorted you out, only heard good things about them to be fair!

Great result on the warranty claim!!
PTP are ridiculously dear imo. They're only 2mins from me but I can't afford to use them:grinning:

Yer definetly. If it hadn't of been for the warranty covering 70% of the cost I would have looked elsewhere! Seemed rather steep, who do you use? May have to find somebody else for the future..

For servicing and general spannering I use Two Techs in Dartford. For Performance and Tuning I've been using Engine Dynamics.
Cars now going to Beaniesport in Milton Keynes this weekend!
Mixed bag I know and none of them less than 45-60mins away from Hoddesdon. Tried local garages but they didnt know their arse from their elbow when it came to Renaultsport
