RS200 Cup - projectors fitted

Hi there, I'm new on this forum! My name is Sebastian, I'm 26 years old and live in the Netherlands. I bought my Clio RS Cup 2 months ago and I have to say it makes me smile every day!

It's from February 2010 and I bought it 2nd hand, the previous owner bought himself a 370Z. In the short amount of time I own the car I already made some modifications:
- professional cleaning
- short antenna (the original antenna hit the Cup spoiler)
- installed a SuperSprint catback system
- bought new wheels for the summer; ATS GTR race/track rims and fitted the original Continental Sport Contact 3
- bought Dunlop SP Wintersport 3D snow tires and fitted these @ the original wheels

The Supersprint exhaust system sounds amazing. It's almost like a rally car. Though because I drive the Clio every day me and a friend of my (a mechanic) fitted the original centre exhaust again. The sound literally was too much. So I now drive with only the Supersprint rear exhaust ("Racing") and this sounds great. Still I'm thinking of going original again so if anyone is interested in a Supersprint exhaust give me a PM (it's brand new, installed for 2 weeks)

Enough talking, some pics:

Thanks all!

...I love those wheels...got any more details about them?

The wheels are ATS Motorsport, type GTR. They are especially made for the Clio sport III because most aftermarket wheels don't fit due to the big brake callipers. Size is as following: 8,0 x 17 ET 57. They weigh about 8,8kg each.

If you are interested I can send you a (German) folder with some info... Just let me know!

I had a look for them on the internet....couldn't find them! Do you have a web-link? Roughly how much did they cost? Very keen to get hold of a set of these even if it means a trip to The Netherlands!!

Nice colour,
Nice wheels,
Nice exhaust,

Very nice car!

Looks brilliant mate!

:welcome:

Wow, that's a warm welcome! Thanks guys! My previous car was a MINI and I was an active member at the New Mini Club forum http://www.newminiclub.nl/. That forum is very active but I have to say this one is too!
I looked for a Dutch Clio forum but I found that there are a lot more Clio RS enthusiasts in the UK. In fact, since I own my Clio I never saw a 2010-Clio RS on the roads (yet), especially not a Cup...

I'll try to make some more pics and post them online. Well, if the weather is cooperating because it's freezing cold (and rainy/snowy) over here!

The wheels will roughly cost you €285,- each, maybe slightly more. I bought them directly form the Dutch distributor Brooklyn Wheels http://www.brooklyn-wheels.com/.

I don't have pictures from the Clio with the ATS wheels yet since I use them for the summer and they are stored in the garage now. I would really like to put them under my car but have to be patient till spring comes. Can't wait!

By the way. I got some H&R springs (-/-3cm) and spacers too. Didn't install them yet because I thinks the suspension is fabulous and also pretty stiff. Would you guys advice to try this setup?

I want to upgrade to projectors and did some research on the Internet and this forum. Now I would like to check a couple of things with you guys. Hopefully you can help me!

I found a shop where I can buy VALEO projectors for a left hand drive. I would like to check the ordernumbers so that I am sure I am buying the right items.

I found this ordernumber for the left side: 7701072008 (OEM)
And this for the right side: 7701072009 (OEM)

Does this sound right to you? The bulbs are H7 right?

Also I am interested in buying a HID-kit from Pilot, to be more specific the Pro Line Duo kit: http://www.pilotxenon.com/?id=125&title=Xenon-HID-Kits

Does anyone have experience with this HID-kit? Or would you recommend an other brand?

Thanks in advance!

I have the Valeo projectors in my FF and the bulb fitment is H1 for the dipped beam (HID through the glass projector) and H7 for the flashing of people. I also have a 6000k HID in and looks way better than being put in standard lamps with no projector. Looks like a factory option as they don't look stupidly bright and most importantly blind you. You have to be aware that they aren't road legal though.

Thanks for helping me out on this. I may sound like a noob now but what type is a FF?
I was planning to install a 6000K HID-kit too. Which brand did you buy? Pilot? Any chance that you have some pics of yours?
