Remap Results!

There's one at Surrey rolling road next month on the 4th if anyone is interested
Are you going mate? I might sign up just for scientific reasons to see how other rollers compare! And have a Saturday shooting the s**t about cars and engines:smile:

I think ED's rollers (Comparing across the board to others rollers) are pretty "fair". I've heard some say even on the low side....but certainly fair; ie: In the middle of the results range per-se for mods done.

From what i've read RST rollers are quite "harsh"......again compared to other Renault / Clio specialists you see regularly mentioned.

From that - i'd expect my (And Bens for example) figures to drop slightly if tested at RST and i'd expect yours to rise Johnny99 if tested at ED.

Thing is - they are different people, different rollers and both are "in the ballpark". And if modding further and re-testing at the same rollers; it matters none.

I kinda feel its potentially a bit more 'optimistic' but I'm not too fussed on the numbers to be honest. Its made the car a lot smoother, had quite a hesitant throttle even when warm and its completely smoothed it out now. lot more enjoyable to drive, not sure if maybe my car had some sort of fault maybe or if this is normal lol

Andy sent over some more graphs today and i think the fuelling one looks to be much different maybe explains the throttle thing. He did his best to explain but I'm just a bit too dim witted to understand it fully.

Andy was ALWAYS concerned with driveability and torque whenever i visited him. They are "real World".

He always saw BHP as a bi-product almost....

I'm not sure i could ever see Andy inflating figures for the sake of it so to speak.

Sounds to me in this respect; you have a goodun !!

Agreed, Like he said, he sometimes struggles to sell turbo conversions etc.. as they don't inflate figures like their competitors do.

Great stuff mate. Glad you're so pleased with the results. Power figure doesn't mean too much in reality, it's all about how it drives and it sounds like that's been nailed.

What a great service you've had from ED too. Shows what sort of company they run. Really good to see.
