Recaros

Hi guys,

I need to get my recaros out in order to fit my harnesses. I cant seem to budge any of the 4 torx bolts holding them in. Any ideas how to get them out? Ive got the correct torx bit to fit but they just wont budge.

Not sure as my bolts were really easy to undo when I changed my seats to recaros.
I just used a cheap ratchet set and bought a new star bit set.

Use the longest bar you can find to be honest mate they are done up not to be removed thats why they are so tight.

Got them out now and fitted one of the harnesses, one of the bolts head is abit chewed so will try and get a new one... will i be able to get one from renault?

Better off finding a normal bolt with the same thread mate, it'll be cheaper and readily avaliable from halfords.

try a search on the net for "ifs" (industrial fastening supplies) to find your local store.
they sell every bolt you can imagine.

buy it from renault. Will only be a quid and you know its the right thread and length and that it will be high tensile.
