Stubby aerial user here. And of course a sufferer of the crappo signal that goes with it.

Anyone tried one of these with any success ?

I've just searched ebay [Is there anywhere else  ] and there is no such thing as an expensive one.

Any of these likely to make any difference. Or just stick to CD's / Aux..........

    Of course.

Just wondered if anything else existed, if there's another way or if it's probably best to leave Radio Norwich all crackly so I can't hear it properly

Could possibly get a DAB radio kit - if that's a thing?

Ive bought one of the same ones listed there, the top one I think. Yet to fit it but I suffer the same issue. My thinking was exactly the above, for £6 worth a go. Strangely, around Plymouth I can pick up Radio 1 fine but around Exeter or motorway I pick up just static.

In the land of modified cars... anything that can be changed will be changed. Stubby aerial is a very cheap modification

Ill get round to it at some point! Currently away all week and cars in for MOT this weekend. It'll cost me some money, I know one of my ball joints has gone on the passenger side...
