Pulling to the left

My 197 seems to be pullin to the left quiet badly, i know its a known problem ut it seems quiet bad any suggestions?

first check the obvious!

tyre wear is a good clue to the state of the tracking

then tyre pressures

makes sure wheel rotate freely - no binding brakes

then a tracking check - cheap is just the fronts but better is a 4-wheel alignment check

if the car has had work done to (ie front subframe removed) it could be the front subframe is slightly out of line

All tyres are the same in thread depth and presure
It has had aset of lowering springs fitted a while back

if its been lowered it does effect the steering geometry as the steering arms work in an arc and hence if its lower it can cause increased "toe-out"

anything can do about that foxspeed

if you have lowering springs fitted then have the tracking checked and if its out of spec have it adjusted

also dont forget there are maximum and minimum geometry settings and that sometimes it may take a couple of adjusts to get the steering set up correctly - but any reputable alignment workshop should know and be able to do this :thumbup1:
