Paint code?..

Hi guys, called my dealer up asking for the paint code for the black on my roof, front mouth and diffuser but they dont have it, just wondering if anyone knows it?

Deep Black - code GNA

Karl looked into this for me earlier in the year, the code he got was 694. GNA is a metallic colour I believe, the black sections are non metallic gloss (on my car at least!). I got a touch up kit from a web supplier.

You sure? shine a torch onto them I'm sure they should be metallic.

Not sure the roof and aero bits are Deep Black.

Deep Black has a massive amount of flake in it, red, green, purple.

Not sure on the roof I'm assuming OP knows they are the same but the paint code is correct for front bumper as far as I'm aware as I got it from RUK and had some paint made up.

They told me it was GNA too, which I'm sure (after asking about) is a metallic. Unless my normally good eyesight is failing me, the black bits on my car are not. Karl got the code from Renault after much faffing (by Renault not Karl!), and they said it is 694. I havent got round to finishing the small chips I was fixing, but it looked ok at the time.
I guess be careful before you try anything!

Have a look at a Deep Black car in the flesh if there's one local and you'll see the difference straight away.

The code GNA has white xiralic in (pearl white) , so definitly no a solid black

I've just been on the Renault website and specced a new 200. The option they give for the roof is called deep black.

The exact option is: Renault i.d. Deep Black Roof £420

P.S. i've got the Trophy today but that bumper is matalic and NOT solid and i'm 99% sure the 200's isn't solid either.

I've asked RUK to look into GNA and 694.

I'll report back.

GNA has come from the central product manager at renault.

I'm starting to worry that I am going mad. I have never noticed any metallic look to the black sections when polishing or claying, so I just went out with a torch to have another look. There may well be something in the paint, whats the best way to check? I do have good eyesight believe it or not! The last thing I want to do is pass on duff info.
