just got the car back from the garage after having all the bell joints replaced costing a fortune ,but anyways last night got in the car it struggled to start , but did eventually , on the way home I had the engine management flashing at the and the traction control light on , and a message at the top saying CHECK ESP , anyone had this before car is running very rough .......

Now saying CHECK INJECTION

First port of call, check the battery with a voltmeter, as when the battery dies, it sets cars on a stupid path of electrical gremlins.
Should be ~12.6v when cars been left over night, running ~14v when car is running.
