No 239

Bought last weekend - number 239 in albi blue. Standard apart from a remap and filter. Love it , when it's warmed up and stopped driving like a drunk kangaroo !!!! Will add pics if somebody can tell me how.

You may be aware of this and I hope I'm not raining on your parade, but those stickers on the side aren't original ones

If you compare them to the ones on my car, or another R27, you'll see the shape is a bit off, colour a bit out and it should say 'World Champions 2005&2006' underneath where it says RenaultF1Team. Don't worry about it too much though, but if it bothers you you can get a new pair for a few hundred quid or something!
Does it have stickers on the roof? If it doesn't then that means when the first owner bought the car they chose to delete the roof and door stickers, keeping only the ones on the front and back.

No it's no roof stickers. I'd never noticed the difference but I see what you mean now. The paintwork and bodywork looks original so maybe a previous owner added some spurious stickers. Thanks for the traction control tip I'll give it a go.
