Hi everyone im a newbie to this site.

im looking at getting a clio, i currently own a megane 1.5 diesel and want to up my game but i owned a megane sport for a month and couldnt afford to insure it and run it as i am a student and only 20 so i want a clio197/200 i have roughly 6k to spend to spend what kind of car can i get for that???

welcome, im 21 and a student and its quite expensive to run a 197, i do a 56 mile round trip 4 days a week so its alot of fuel but not impossible, for 6k you could possibly get a decent 197 maybe a cup but probably not a r27, other people may be able to help u more, just check for fsh and cambelt change and u cant really go wrong

Welcome , I bought my 197 at 21 a month after finishing uni...Just wait until you finish uni is my advice. There is no point in worrying about being able to afford a car like a 197 while trying to do your degree. Just wait a few months and get one when you have a regular income coming in.

6k seems a bit low to get a decent 197 (IMO).
