New gearbox/lower engine mount!!!

Just had a new lower gearbox/engine mount fitted and christ!!! Bought the one i did because it was supposed to not be as harsh as a rose jointed one but last longer than a polybush one. HOWEVER... at idle the vibrations are terrible but it sounds nice and meaty whilst driving.... am i doing damage to my car and will it bed in? Any thoughts guys??

Other than shaking your fillings out it probably won't do much damage to the car, the vibrations were always there just dampened out by the rubber mount.

I'd be surprised if it settles down much, those mounts are really for track cars?

I put a powerflex in my upper torque arm, did 300miles and just put original one back in as the vibrations were doing my head in! Gonna give it another few hundred miles and then decide whether it's staying in or not. :grimacing:

Just been for an hour long blast and you get used to it...definitely feels more fun. Will give it a week or two and if i dont like it, go with the polybushes... relatively cheap job so...
