I noticed my passenger side window rubber is hanging off, and that'll be my second set after having the replaced under warranty about 18 months ago.

Interested in hearing more about adjusting the steering column uj. Details on how you adjusted it etc... (is it adjusted near the pedals?)

Credit to you, the car looks like it's being well looked after!

Had me and three mechanics look at the car for a steering knock it felt like the drivers side inner track rod so I replaced it and also greased the rack to no avail . It was caused by the uj where it bolts to the shaft under the pedals it felt tight but it wasn't I loosened the uj and found a indent in the rack shaft moved the uj up by 2 or 3mm and retightened and it cured it. You can reposition the uj up and down because its on a shaft I suspect many people have changed racks thinking they cured the problem but in reality they have moved the uj and retightened so that actually cured the problem .i was also speaking to a guy at renault Doncaster and there's a mod on various renaults something to do with a paste that sets hard around the uj clamp. To cure knocking noises.

Thanks, I'll have a look at mine tomorrow as it may be suffering from the same. How easy is it to get to? (Sorry for off-topic)

Hmmm... I have some play in my front drivers side wheel... I recently spun out and mounted quite a big curb. Lucky I had time to steer the car up the curb, so no rim damage.

Will this cure that play too? Or will I have to replace inner rod? Renault ask an arm and a leg for parts down here.

Alcantara from eBay cheap as its left over from a large job and stuck down with contact adehisive .i had to pull off a backing of the alcantara so it would stretch enough around curved components . Any glue I got on the front a small bit of tardis removed it.
