In, Having the gearbox checked out, it's full of swarf. The bearings need replacing and the pinion shaft is f***ed.
So it needs £350's worth of bits.

I Have got another box sorted. With thanks to Matt @trackspec197

Also The 265 turbo is on it's way.
Hope it goes better from here.

So this turned up.

Also my wife bought my a hard pipe kit for Christmas.


Got my 3" Down pipe as well.


Got a few more bits to get.
The quaife is probably going to have to wait as Christmas has taken over.

I'm Looking into the 3" exhaust system.

So I managed to get the engine into a stand at work, steam cleaned it off and did a bit of tidying up.

I also removed the sump and checked the big end bearings and fitted a set of arp's.


I've cleaned up, painted and fitted the sump but haven't any pics as yet.
I've got a new crank seal and gates timing belt kit and waterpump. Just got to get a couple of cam seals as I noticed one had a slight weep before I fit the belt.

great stuff..thats what i did..arp bolts just to be on a safe side...you never know when it comes a modding bug :excited:

So, my engine looks a bit better.
Got a few bits painted.
Just put the inlet on with 1 bolt for effect.

Cam seals are ordered then I can fit the belt kit and waterpump.

Looking into the loom at the moment.
