LY 200 one standard and now gone bee :(

Hey,

well its been nearly a year so I thought I'd start a prgoress thread now I started doing things to old bumble!

So from the start when I picked it up:









I added the RS steering wheel trim and the meganne footrest (no pictures of this!)

I also swapped all the interior bulbs over to led which looks :thumbup1: just no photos haha also changed over the headlight bulbs over to look more hid without actually putting hid's in.

I also then swapped over to a miltek catback exhaust with centre silencer and had it remapped at the same time :eek:

I then decided to get the gearknob and gaiter trimmed in alcantara with yellow stitching to match the whole interior theme!

and then a friend of mine who is an apprentice photographer took some pictures and made this for me:



I'll upload her actualy pictures another time.

and most recently I decided the factory music system wasn't amazing but wanted to keep the standard radio as I wanted all the bluetooth info on the screen and the RS monitor (not sure if it would be affected) so changed the front speakers over to some MTX 6000 components and 6x9's in a stealth shelf and had it all amped and now it sounds fantastic! crystal clear sound :thumbup1:





looks completely standard which is perfect!


Also have some KW's clubsport suspension on order with adjustable top mounts which I am mega excited about!! also the miltek will be getting decatted pictures to follow!

The bulbs are phillips diamond vision the light output is no better but gives a better blue/White look without being chavy

Nice looking 200. Parcel shelf looks likes it really good too! Keeping things nice and hidden! Does it effect the sound having them hidden like that?

For some unknown reason, the side skirts look better on 200's and megs than 197's. Think its because theres no front RS splitter.

I used to think that the 200s didn't wear the LY colour that well tbh when I first saw it. Looked ok but not as stand outty as the 197. However, going through this thread I now stand corrected.

That looks lush and will only get better with the coilovers. Shoulda got the Akrapovic though lol.

its acoustic carpet so meant to not affect the sound. It does sound a lot better though!

I've never seen them on a meg but agree they look better on cars with the front RS splitter

Thank you! Yeah the coilovers will help a lot! and I know I do wish I got one actually mostly for the carbon tips! haha but I couldn't afford over £1K at the time!!

er good question that! as I don't remember I had 5 days off work to drive it. Got a chip in the windscreen on the first day at which point I then put my foot down in it due to red mist haha.

it is I love it but is like £30 haha. The sideskirts are great and were a present from my dad! which was awesome when picking it up!! haha
