orderd a bunch of parts to get it back to perfect condition.
One of the rear calipers really didn't want to move when I changed over to the Galfer pads, so I orderd 2 new ones. The insulation against the bulkhead was torn up, orderd the whole deal with the fitting kit.
On top of that, I never had a spare key, so orderd one of those aswell. The batterycover was broken and I needed some OE brackets for the front brakelines, because the goodridge lines keep rubbing against everything...So orderd a set of Hel front brakelines, hoping they fit better. Lot's of stuff coming up...

Yesterday I wanted to replace the batterycover, all the tabs had been broken off:
A brand new one:
I didn't fit, because some had replaced the original battery with a taller one. So I bought a correct size battery
all back together, nice and straight:

I never had 2 working keys to the car so a new one was in order:
So I had some mayor issues with the car, so this morning I left here with my mecanic. He's the guy that does the things I don't have the knowledge for...he does brilliant work. The first issue was: the gearbox has to come out of the car to get rebuild, the usual crunching going in 3rd and 4th gear. So the time had come to upgrade to a Quaife ATB:
The car has 95000km's and the gearbox has to come of anyway so a new clutch kit, slave cylinder, crankgasket, vibratechnics gearbox support will be fitted for good measure.
A few weeks ago my exhaust had cracked, so I started ordering replacement parts...an Akrapovic evolution exhaust and new hangers and bushings:

On top of this, I noticed someone had fiddeld with the oxygen(lambda) sensor, so I orderd a new one.

progress of the rebuild on the gearbox; the gearbox is back together and fitted in the car, along with the new clutch, clutch slavecylinder and crankshaft seal.
rebuild spec on the gearbox: new steel synchro's on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear, replacing entire synchronizer sleeves on 3rd and 4th. Also replaced all the seals and some bearings. Oh and fitted the Quaife + new bearings.
Also replaced: support bearing for the driveshaft.
When putting it back together this happend, we didn't even touch the nut on the threads but the threads noticed it was kindoff crooked. When trying to undo the bolt, this happend:
You can actually see it was slit in half already. Don't ask me how this happend, we're absolutely clueless.
So now I needed 2 new shocks for the front end...great! Oh and the vibratechnics gearboxmount didn't fit...so I went OEM for on that one aswell. Oh and I'll be replacing the dustcovers on the shocks aswell.

I had some lightbulbs to replace in the front headlights, so I had to take the headlights out, this is what I came across:
Totally wrecked condensor...
pulled it all off the car:
new condensor, and some small stuff had to be replaced (clips, O-rings etc)
Headlights, with all new lights (all H7 and H1 are philips whitevision, silver vision for the indicators and LED's for those W5W fitting, fitted whitevision H11's for the fogs aswell)
