Well got it back, had the fault and the annoying noise there infront of them, but they refused to see it as an issue, sorry they "couldn't hear anything". They didn't want it at all, as they didn't want the hassle of taking the dash out to investigate as it was 'a big job'. They also said they get alot of them in, and no one of them had this problem.
If you have more acute hearing you can hear the different sounds, and just gotta live with it, but what can you do, just got to live with it.
