Not at all buddy. It will all come right...i'm sure they'll be some teething troubles; it's the nature of the beast and comes with so many parts being changed and removed. As long as you're happy at the end of it and are doing it solely for yourself - that's all that matters.

Presume you'll be collecting next week if they do indeed finish Sunday ?

Of course Ben theoretically you can manipulate the competition by choosing a convenient time for pick up that isn't necessarily the time the car is ready! I really doubt that you would, or even could bring yourself to wait a minute longer than necessary though.
