..........Arghhhhh ! Thats the other forum i've just joined (The wife is currently looking for one)........ I'm looking for some French enjoyment of another sort 8)

My names Shuv, and im from Lowestoft in Suffolk. I've always really been a bike man....i think i've owned 35+ bikes since i was 17 including Ducati's, R1's, Gixxer 1000's right through to KTM 500's and various Supermoto's.

Cars have always been 'just a work car' really. I think after taking off work miles last year - i did less than 800 miles for "pleasure" all year ! At weekends we either use the wife's car or i'm on 2 wheels.

But i do fancy something a little nicer this time around and hopefully come tomorrow when the current two-wheeled ride sells; i'll have a max of £8k to spend on a Clio.

So. We all like pics i guess being petrolheads.....so here's a few bikes i've owned:

I also had a Saxo for 10+ years. Was a work car, then gave it to the wife, then got it back and went to town on it engine wise, and it ended up running 150hp of Nitrous too, via a progressive controller, bottle heater etc and some trick electronics:

This is the current 'luke-warm' work-mobile. Been a fantastic nippy run-around for the last 3 years though. And utterly reliable and dependable. (And yes im into my detailing too. On a seriously anal scale):

Cheers for looking, see you all around.

Shuv.

Welcome along. Nice collection of bikes you've had & the cars look quite fun too! Good luck finding a good Clio. Find a nice one & you'll love it.

Welcome to the forum. Nice collection of bikes you've had. The Saxo looks like a bit of a sleeper!

£8k should get you a very nice example of a Clio RS. Good luck with the search.
