Flat spot disappeared now weather warmer!

Having bought my 197 in November ,this week is the first time it has encountered temperatures above 10C.

Also the first time I've been able to thrash it.

All of a sudden - no flat spot! (I have done the usual Map sealing -remapping etc)

Is this because it's been properly warmed up and /or the external temps have helped?

Possibly a dodgy cam sensor? Mine was very temperamental, had weeks of being rubbish then all of a sudden the car drove fine, only for it to go the other way a day or so later.

Finally got the centre silencer reinstated (Powerflow £120 fitted).

Can now hold a conversation at 70,definitely no flat spot ,even in cold conditions, much better throttle response in everyday driving -in other words the Clio that Renault designed with full exhaust system in the first place.

A very different car and one that suits me very well.
