Yeah definitely, I didn’t modify them to fit that just kind of did haha
I know this has kind of turned into a project thread but oh well
Boost gauge relocated and OMP steering wheel. Horn doesn’t work anybody know why ?
If you're happy that's what counts mate.
Thanks man, tell you what though people on here are a lot nicer than on cliosport.net nothing but people telling you you’ve got a crap car haha
Boost gauge looks a decent job
I like to have my own opinion on things but would never slate anyone's pride and joy. I was young once myself mate.
Well done fella, I think what sometimes happens on forums is that the older ones don’t get what younger ones like in a car, ie forgot they were young once and had no taste either! (Joke)
I remember my first few cars, big mudflaps, stickers everywhere, anti sickness strips (google them) and a carb bought from kays club book (Big book that sold everything from bras to fishing rods before the internet) and I fookin loved it, dad thought I was a tit! Lol, fair play to you mate, I like what you did, your young and it’s your car, health to enjoy it and this is a great forum
Yeah, don't get bothered by the people that own something that's just a bit faster or more expensive and think they're now in a position to look down on others. I mean I'm also making fun of some creations that I see around but I'd never tell somebody to f* off because he's not driving an RS.
Anti sickness strips (did they actually work as they seemed to just flap around!) and the Kays catalogue, that takes me back!
Lol, just looked cool hanging of the car! Yep Kay’s! A cool book when you were a kid, esp round Christmas! R.E.M. they used to sell air rifles and crossbows too!
anybody good with electrics? I need to get my horn working haha
No, sorry but I've an other idea.
If only it was loud enough haha
Thought I’d update a few people who had taken interest in the car
Nothing much has changed apart from adding a little JDM touch to the car
Next up is spacers for the rear and a dual exit exhaust
Looks LOADS better with the spacers. Need a shot in context with the whole car.
What a great project this is. Love to see a 197 (or close enough!) in a different colour too. Think it looks really great in the dark blue.
Admire the efforts you've gone to here Jack. Hope you're enjoying driving it too. And if you want cheap performance gains, you could always strip it out!
Presume you're saving for a Meg engine conversion?
hey! thanks for the kind words !
its not a bad drive but constant issues, but i guess thats the french side of it! going for a dual exit exhaust in 2 days, bigger injectors then a remap, meg conversion would be to expensive! haha
197 grill installed, the cars having a dual system being made as we speak
