Embeding YouTube videos

Noticed that since YouTube has stopped doing long links you can't embed a video in your post. The short urls will not work with the YouTube tag, can this be fixed or am I being thick..

I always just copied the last bit of the video url and that works, first one is full short url second is just the video ID. Theres no need to enter any of the URL before the / . Like this [YOUTUBE]eFuvFpRvSfU[\YOUTUBE]
