E46 M3 vs Nissan GTR around Snetterton 300

Had a dam good day at Snetterton 300 last week

My 4th day at Snett and managed to walk away with a new personal best of 2:08

Was a messy lap so know there is time to come off that, also need a stronger diff with a different ratio to get the best around here.

Such a great watch. How fast!!
Some car you've got there. Had that GTR on toast.
Also loving the software you're using for the video.

Awesome video mate car sounds fab! Disappointed at the lack of powerslide action but I know you were trying to put in clean laps

I think snetterton is a bit small for the GTR the driver didn't look particularly committed either but a tidy scalp none the less.

Straight six screaming :sunglasses: love how he clearly thought he could ditch you on a straight, but one corner and some slightly later braking, bye bye :tearsofjoy:

Would love a bit of powersliding action but my diff is just not up to it.

If you listen very carefully you can hear that out of the three 2nd gear corners it over revs as the LSD is slipping.

awesome driving mate, M3 looks the nuts aswell,

but that GTR driver was driving like most, power the straights/pussy the corners,

i went for a passenger lap round the ring in a GTR and they are a hell of a lot more nimble than that one looked, but the bloke i was in with was a lunatic to being with (you may have seen his video of the Subarus near missing each other at a accident)

Agreed.

As supremely well as i'm sure the M3 handles itself on the bendy-bits: the video does no credit to the couple of R35's i've been in and the way they corner. One of which i go in regularly and feels like it corners stupidly well and is as flat as can be. Thats not what im seeing in the vid though (?)

Either way. This isnt a pi55-fest and as before - your M3l looks more than capable. And sounds bloody bonkers doing it !

Love all your vids and thanks again for posting TrackM3

You're always going to get a bit of body roll from anything, especially with the weight of a full GTR.

It wasn't an easy car to shoot down and pass, strung my stint out longer than I would normally as just had to have it.
And to be honest I don't think it had all that bad body roll and was a lot better in the corners than I expected, guess there is a lot of computers working away any move you make in one of those things.

Was at Goodwood this Saturday just gone so will be getting up some videos from there.
