"Device connected"

I bought my 197 last week. One of the many options is the iPhone connector block that is attached to the side of the glovebox. It has a few connections and one cable connects to the iPhone. When I connect the iPhone to the cable, the songs can be controlled via the stalk, etc... but the songs are not displayed on the iPhone but a message "Device connected". The tracks used to be displayed on the iPhone with the aftermarket cable I bought from Matt at MT Audio for the 172.

So for those have the connector block on the 197, is this normal? If not, how do I sort it?

I have this issue also, can't use it for the sat nav app because of the 'device connected' message!

I PM'd Matt @ MT Audio (ClioSport) and he said that is how Renault have programmed them. Grrr. Idiots.

Mine plays nothing! Annoying really, it does play my sat nav voice! Seems to be that the iPhone is stopping it as the 'in app' player for Co-Pilot won't play music either, but will transmit voice commands.

Mines working now, got it working through CoPilots music player!
