Dale's Glacier White 200 cup

No need to add to a pot, could easily afford new wheels with what I won

Only ones I'd consider though are Oz's

Well you DID have a good weekend!!! Congrats Dale!

And I may be just slightly biased but OZ Ultraleggera are the absolute business. The weight loss really helped handling too. Massive difference to the OEM wheels and if you're running spacers there's that weight to lose too. Win win win.

Black Ultras would look amaaaaaaaaazing on your car mate. But you're probably fully sure of that already!

I sure did!!! Put it this way... with what I won I could afford new wheels, a remap and a spoiler with change, but only spending a little on the Clio as it's the girlfriends birthday soon so going to be treating her instead :thumb:

So just don't tell her how much the wheels are and tell her most of it "went into your birthday fund darling"

Bloody hell mate. You must have been high as a kite!

!!!!PLS GO NEW WHEELS!!!

With Mes being fluent in Croatian, and acting as your 'agent' you'd actually save over the UK RRP, so it's the best of both worlds

Bang on Micah.

Dale if you do go for it and need any help, please shout mate, I'd be glad to give you the benefit of our experience. They'd be cheaper too as ours were a special order due to being bronze.

Go back to casino and stick it all on red.

You win: then new wheels and great birthday for the girlfriend...

You lose: then no worse off still got kerbed wheels and need to find something for girlfriend!

This is exactly what I'd do. And I'd lose it all. Which is why I don't gamble!

So I got a little bit lucky on the roulette table this weekend so decided the Clio could do with a treat.

I'm thinking either wheel refurb, engine remap or Spoiler ... really can't make my mind up

Remap would probably be the best investment but my alloys are kurbed to **** and it really bugs me :tearsofjoy:

Awesome news dale.

Wheels is a no brainer for me!

Plus wheels you could actually sell, if you want to class that as an 'investment', where as a remap is dead money once done! This is of course if you go down the new wheels route!

Dale, remind me, are you on springs or coilovers? If you're on springs and have had a bit of a windfall, I'd be seriously considering a proper suspension set up before wheels. Depends what you want from the car though of course.

I think I'll quit whilst I'm ahead thanks!

Solid advice though :tonguewink:

Completely OEM (cup) suspension mate, not really fussed about improving it to be honest as I don't really push the car to be able to notice any difference.

I considered lowering springs but IIRC cup susspension is already slightly lower than standard so never really seemed worth it.

Only problem is I want to keep things as OEM as possible, and I actually really really love the speedlines so I think I'd get them refurbished.

The Ozs are really nice though.......

Thanks mate, really appreciate it!

Really big fan of yours, match the car perfectly!

Well that's fair enough - satin black speedlines on GW look awesome!

Yeah 7mm lower. Sounds nowt but definitely makes a difference. And the Cup suspension is definitely better than the regular.

Thanks for the thumbs up on our wheels mate. I think the matt graphite would look just as good on yours. Something about white and anthracite that really works for me. But totally feel you on the staying OEM and getting the refurb. They're still nice wheels.

You've had a good win though mate, even if it's not car bits, I hope you're going to treat yourself to something extravagant!

I'd go for a refurb on the Speedlines, you could always sell them if other wheels catch your eye later on. And, tbh, aftermarket wheels look a bit daft on standard suspension, so if you're sticking with the standard cup set up then a refurb on the Speedlines is the way to go. Then maybe a retrimmed steering wheel/gaitor combo?

Had the worst month of my life, various things happened not really want to get into it but basically I'm returning the car to the finance company but will be selling the Recaros to recooperate some of the costs.

If anyone is interested I'd be up for a set of standard seats + cash my way.

Few pics of them above, in very good condition apart from a very slight, barely noticeable tear on the passengers seat.

Absolutely gutted to have to be selling but this has without a doubt been the worst month of my life and I need to start cutting back on essentials.

Sorry to hear the cars going Dale. Hope you might pop in and stay with us though

I'll have immaculate standard fronts available in the reasonably near future if it helps in any way.

Good luck with everything buddy.

This is a shame dale.
I hope everything sorts it self out.
What price are you looking for your seats?
I have a set of standard ones also.
