Clio RS 200T Issues Update

GOT IT BACK.

everything is running fine. they diagnosed it as an electrical fault in the bottom of the cylinder and hopefully no more faults in the future.

44 days in the garage total. ****e customer service. 4 equally ****e courtesy cars but back in my yellow bullet. it was like clio depravation torture.

show face at the dealership mate. discuss your issues with the branch manager. make sure they know its not good enough.

they're having issues with parts because its a new range and it takes a while for dealers to stock up. i know it shouldn't be this way but theres not a lot you can do.

If it's on finance, can you not claim back the payments? What courtesy car did they give you?

Good idea with finance also no courtesy car as they never had one at time

they gave me a corsa 1.2 SE, clio (not sure what engine but around the 1.2 mark), a fiesta and the sales reps megane which was pretty trashed.

Back in August I got a new clio for a month and the exhaust rattled of the floor between 2500 and 4000 I done over 2000 miles in it and it drove me mad with the rattle , you either had to drive under 40 or over 95 to stop it rattling

I purchased my Rs from Derby too in august 2015 the car is a 2014 plate been ok until last January where I started to have this ESC issue on the dash board and start hill issue too,spanner light on and the engine running on 3 cylinders.
I first took it to Pontifract Renault which is the nearest for me as I live in Doncaster,but I think they only reset the ecu cos few days after I had the same issue again.
I then decided to take it to Wakefield cos they are Renault sport specialist apparently but did same as ponty so I took it back in a 2nd time in Wakefield and this time they said they changed a cable because the fault was a misfire on cylinder 3,then the car has been ok since February until yesterday I got the same issue again.
I turned the car off for 5 minutes left the keys in the ignition and when I turned it back on everything was fine all lights gone off and engine running perfectly.
I wonder why the car has been ok all these months and now I'm having this issue again.
Could be because unfortunately I don't use the car every day? I only got the chance to use it at weekend but before yesterday last time I used it it was 3 weeks ago as I been away.

I will have to take the car back to Renault again I guess
