Clio R3 exhaust

anyone try to remove the first cat??

i almost brought a second hand manifold off ebay just to get the 1st cat chopped off, but then i thought there wouldnt be much difference as all the exhaust companies i have spoken too say the standard one is very very good and that there is no point doing one for it.
 
Where's this part from? My engine's already out so how hard could it be?!

You have to take your exhaust manifold with the pre-cat off and send it to them. Then they cut the pre-cat off and weld hmmm dunno the english word for this but hope you understand - they weld a flange on both ends something like this so you know what I mean and after that you can put either the decat pipe on or your pre-cat back on :tongue_smilie:

That picture made me laugh! Thanks I understand. I've come to realize 280 euros is £250 tho and it would take weeks to transport etc
