Click/creak around passenger side A pillar

Now I know these cars are renouned for their rattles, knocks and other annoying interior noises but my car is relatively well screwed together apart from a periodic click noise when I go over a small bump or sometimes when cornering.

It sounds like its coming from the A pillar area but I sprayed it with silicone, pushed bits of rubber between the A pillar and screen but Im struggling to isolate the noise. I would like to cure it without resorting to the usual suggestion of driving faster or turning the radio up.

Any experience with the same problem would be appreciated.

check the door/pillars for a loose blanking grommet that can rattle in the door/door pillar area
