'Check injection' warning

Hi all,

I have only had my Clio for a few days. It has flashed up 'check injection' twice, had a bit of a cough and splutter then returned to normal. Only happened when accelerating hard(ish). Is this a common fault? The car was serviced by Renault last week before i bought it. So i wouldn't expect any problems with it this early on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

It wasn't cold mate, it had been warming up sitting in traffic for about 10 minutes before the warning flashed up. I'll bear that in mind in the future though. I'm always careful to let the car warm up before any 'spirited' driving.

Its normally an ignition fault from the knock sensor i think mate.

I live in a village off the A46 near to Syston. Is it something I need to send the car in for then? Is an expensive fix etc? Not exactly rolling in it after tax and insurance. Ha ha.

Throttle Body
Manifold Absolute Pressure
Inlet Air Temperature

TB connector is below the inlet opening to the TB
MAP is the black one to the left (looking at the car) on the top of the inlet manifold
IAT is at the front of the manifold to the right (again, looking at the car).

It seems to have settled down. I'll check the connections and if the warning flashes up again i'll book it into the garage. Thanks for your help guys.
