Carminat + Radio Display

Curious question on the built in Carminat TomTom Sat Nav.

Judging from pictures, the SatNav unit replaces the readout screen for the Radio etc... so what displays Radio info exactly?! :w00t:

However i have seen the following comment on the TomTom website...

• radio display emulation (will vary per car model)

So from that i assume Radio and CD track info will be displayed on the same screen :confused1:

If so, would appreciate if anyone knows of any pictures/examples of this

I had a Clio as a courtesy car when my 197 was in for work, and it had the built in sat nav. Radio info etc was in a band across the bottom of the screen like below:

I didn't like it, looked out of place....

On another note... is the satnav as a result running constantly?

No probs, and it was always on when I had it but I didn't mess with it tbh, so someone else may know a bit more on whether it can be turned off?
