I am picking the car up today between 3pm and 4pm.

If its nice tomorrow, ill give it a clean and get some pics up and a sound clip up if i can capture it decent enough through my camera.

I cant wait to go for a drive, ive really missed it!

I know that feeling... My car was gone for 2 months waiting for parts once... It's tough here in SA to get parts... Minimum waiting time to get parts from France is 21 working days. So if no one in the country has parts in stock, we have to wait forever... Hope you get your car back sooner than later

Thats bad mate, i bet you hate waiting that lengh of time for a part to turn up.

So i picked up the 182 yesterday, its now running mint!

Powerflow turbo back exhaust fitted a couple of weeks a go..

A few vids here, 5hit camera, 5hit quality, 5hit audio but you get an idea, the bangs are much louder in person, and the flames are larger when on the move..

Private/cosed road, 1st to 2nd gear change was ****, but tbh its a struggle while trying to hold your phone while spinning allover the road lol, it was a bit greasy too, ill get another when we have some nice hot weather/roads..

Not an update really, i have just ordered a rear os handbrake cable as mine snapped the other week, i have also ordered a new temp sensor and a new thermostat as my temp needle sometimes fluctuates so hopefully this will solve it.

Steadily ironing out any small niggles that are effecting my OCD! Nearly there lol.

Just a small update, my car picked up a small misfire, so i contacted Andy who did my conversion and he sent me out a new set of plugs and leads..



They were sent out yesterday and i received them today, all free of charge, thanks Andy

Now all sorted and running 100% again!

Popped a new pollen filter in today, it needed it imo..



All done..



I am very happy with the car now its almost there, i have a handbrake cable and a cv boot to fit, then the car will be 100% niggle free.

I have only had little teething problems which have now all been sorted apart from the above two, which i have the parts for here

I will then be able to start the mods again, i have had a quote for a wheel refurb and the car prepped and lacquered by a recommended painter, is this a good or bad idea?

My mate that used to work in a body shop said it will come back showroom condition, but i just think a machine polish will be just as good as the paintwork is pretty much 100%

A good detail and fill will be sufficient if the paintwork is still good... I'd be too scared of someone messing that up tbh.

I think your right mate, im going to give it a full detail come March/April time, theres no point in potentially ruining something thats not broken
