Anyone had there Leds in dash etc changed

red and whit in a White or red RS and blue in a blue.
mind you blue in a red woukd be quite cool too. bit of contrast.

Would they not be Surface mount SMD's.
IF they are surface mount are a right bi8ch to change, Seems like a whole lot of hassle.
Granted it would look great, but id not fancy stripping them all out and then resoldering if they are surface, I do Electronic Engineering at Uni and we have a "robot" that does the surface mounts due to them being such f()()kers, they are so easy to overheat and then its game over.
I remembe in my mini dash everyting was on like a plastic film with copper track running through, that woulod make the job even harder.
