Any idea where this goes ??

Morning people, just been looking under the bonnet and noticed I have a loose hose, any idea as to where it goes ? The hose is located on the right hand side of the car. I guess it can't be doing much good unplugged,

that looks like the vent tube for the battery - takes any charging fumes from the battery and the tube runs down to the n/s/f lower wheelarch to atmosphere

it pushes in to the top cover of the battery if its got a "genuine" renault one fitted

Aaaah that would explain a lot, thank you! I have a ford battery in mine and no battery cover. Would that make any difference to the car itself if its fitted or not?

nope - it might have a small blanking plug in that you can take out and put the vent tube in but just depends on what type of venting system the battery has
