Alpine Headunit Stopped Working

I went to use my car today and have noticed that the head unit won't switch on. Before I pull it apart has anyone had this happen before. Could it just be a fuse?

If your using the amp built into the head unit it can pull more current than the OEM head unit so, as above, can blow the fuse.

I think theres also a stereo fuse under the steering wheel, if the fuses are ok try the standard headunit to see if it's the alpine at fault

if its still not fixed, the fuse I needed changing was apparently behind the glove box, so remove that, it had been wrongly fitted from factory, 5A instead of 15A.
