Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

All the way up the west coast of Scotland, along the top then down the east coast. 799 miles in 3 days.

I've gotta get as much as I can at the minute whilst the Mrs is still in the honeymoon period with us getting the car lol. She even bought me a personal plate for it.

part of the 500 by any chance?

Yup. Though as we've done all of the route before we're picking it's best bits and adding some other bits that are better.

Hope you enjoy the road trip, I read about the 500 in Evo's car of the year feature...looks like a fantastic bunch of roads. I'd love to do that some day.

Noddie, I've only just noticed that you are back. I remember your car from the old days back 2011/2012. It's great to see you back in an RS200 and also good to see you have revived the old progress thread. I did the same as you, sold my 197 regretted it and returned a few years later in a 200. Lesson learnt, Haha welcome back mate!!

Today was the day I had the B14s and exhaust fitted. Tis like having an old friend back. That noise. No ST exhaust came close to the awesome Akra bellow.

Chuffed to bits.

Enjoy the road trip. These are my hooning roads whenever I can persuade the Mrs. that I need a day out in the car alone. Done the whole 500 route but never in one go, it's just the roads I choose to do for fun all linked together. I'm just hoping that now it's become more recognized as a route it's not going to become too heavily policed.

It was price that swung it for me. On offer at K-Tec so took the opportunity.

I'd love another set of Clubsports or AST badboys but £2k is too much for me now.

So we got back from our north coast road trip yesterday (Earlier than originally planned). The mileage tally in the end was 793 in 3 days. Rained all day non-stop on Friday so not many pics from then. Saturday however was awesome. Blue sky and dry empty roads. The 200 was in her element. The B14s which we had fitted last week are stiff but only on the worst of the single-track roads did it become bumpy. Had forgotten how awesome the Akra is at full pelt also.

A good way to bond with my "new car". I'll stick up some pics (I tried not to take the same ones that I've taken on previous road trips but there will be similar):

Thats us. Rained on the Friday and the Sunday so most of the pics are of Saturday. I thoroughly recommend everyone thats into cars (And amazing scenery) to do the North Coast 500. You will not be disappointed.

Today the car was treated to some new boots (Tyres). Opted for the Michelin Pilot Cup 2s as they now come in our size and they are meant to be spectacular. The tyres that were on the 200 when I bought it (Pirelli P Zero Neros on the front and Toyo T1Rs on the back) got stuck onto Emma's Clio 4 as they were nearly new. I just didn't like them all that much.

Great photos and tremendous looking roads! Glad you had such a good time. I'd love to do the 500 at some point in the future.

Are the 1st 2 pictures taken in Glen Docherty? Great road for a hoon! Lovely views from the top too.

I find it hard getting a straight answer to this question but are the b14s bumpier/harsher than the cup suspension? Some people say they are and others say that they are only harder at high speeds.

Much stiffer than Cup 100% sure of that. Not bad though.
