alarm

never had this go off before but tonite
the bloody things gone off twice checked
everything shut windows, doors all ok wierd
when i opened the door it beeped 4 times
anybody had any alarm probs?

If I open door to quick it beeps a few times unsure if it's 4 not this will help much though lol

Have you made sure the middle seat belt is pushed to the roof?

Nothing blocking the sensors? (like spiders)

Any lorries or big vibrations going past your car?

only some prat in a vectra with one of those
silly stick on zausts making one hell of a lot of noise

that could be it mate the vibrations can cause it to go off as it disturbs the air inside the car.. if I powerhose the car when its locked it goes off for the same reason

yeah the alarm is well sensitive. and when it does go off it alerts all the people within a 1 meter radius of it lol

I had a moth in mine, that kept setting the alarm off!

If its a hands free entry,(keyless) and you open the door to quickly after its unlocked it gives of a very quite beeb not sure how many ,hang on and I'll go and try mine and count them..........back in a mo...............yep its 4 high pitched bleeps like a mouse being strangled.

is there anyway to turn the siren up? its very quiet and i'm worried i'd not be able to hear it through the double glazing of the house if it ever went off

It is VERY loud when sat in the car though, put the eindow down, lock it, wait a minute then stick ur head thru the window!!
