akrapovic (slip on)

just wondering whether the slip on system will sound near enough the same as the full evolution system. I know people will say get the evo system because of the power gains, but i dont want to run the risk of it failing MOT. Even though a lot of you on here have passed the emissions test... its a lot of money to risk if the tester realises there is no cat. Cant really find any videos or info about the slip on system anywhere so any help will be appreciated
