Decided to start a build thread for my the 200. I picked the car up at the start of this year following a flight to Edinburgh and a long 7 hour drive back South. It's a 2010 Clio 200 FF with Cup Pack, 50k miles and in great condition with no real wear and tear. I've spent a fair bit of time going round the car and the only defects I've found are 1 wheel bearing that needs replacing and a faulty cruise control switch. I've bought the car purely as a track toy and really looking forward to getting the car on plenty of UK trackdays as well as 2-3 trips to the Nurburgring this year. I'm by no means the next Lewis Hamilton having only ever done a handful of trackdays and one trip to the Nurburgring but have missed not having a fun car over the last year, so can't wait to get back on track. Below are my last couple of cars which have been a mix of daily and track. As I have an X5 for my daily now, this is the first time I've owned a car purely for track use. Clio 197 E46 M3 My plans for the Clio 200 so far are as follows: - Lightweight Seats. I've managed to source a set of Recaro Pole Positions - Removal of Rear Interior. - Wheels. Set of Oz Ultraleggera's arrived today - Cup Spoiler. Awaiting Paint. - Coilovers. - Roll Cage. - Harnesses. Currently struggling to decide whether I want to completely gut the car and go out and out race car or maintain a clubsport spec, not sure I can live without carpet and door cards! I will be looking to save as much weight as possible, having taken the car to the weigh bridge recently I am starting from 1350kg including me and a full tank of fuel. If I could save 100kg I'll be happy. Anyway, enough waffle heres some pictures of the car. Wish we didn't have front plates here in the UK! Oh and a few of the new wheels Thanks for looking!
