Adhesive for front splitter. Don't laugh.

Hi,

I have a very lightweight rubber front splitter and the recommended method of fitting is to use double-sided tape and then a small self-tapper every 500mm.

I'm fine with the tappers, but the tape the kit comes with wouldn't stick a lie to Donald Trump.

So. I need recommendations of tape/adhesive strips that people have used on their cars.

I have used some Unibond double sided adhesive tape before... not on/for a car though. But it sure did it's job!
