197: A couple of things I would like answering..

Ive owned my car for a couple of weeks now and 2 things have happened since owning it which I havent been able to work out why and I wondered whether anyone had the answers.

1) When going to press the engine stop button the screen between the dials told my I had to press the button twice! I have never had to do this before and I have never had to do this again. Whats the reason for pressing the button twice to stop the engine?

2) Sometimes when I get in the car it beeps about 4 times.....(its an internal beep) which I think I have figured out is something to do with locking with the keycard and then opening with the sensor but havent worked out the exact combo and why it does this?

1. mine does this now and again. and i thought i had turned it of already
2.this happens when you seem to open the car to quick and the alarm is resetting itself
thats my thoughts could be wrong

Answer to question 2 is:

If you open the door too quick after using the keyless entry it does this.
Mine does it all the time as i am quick on the draw!!!! LOL

q1 - keycard out of range/detection - also try a new battery and not have your mobile phone next to the keycard
