197 Headunit upgrade

Hi all,

i know there are plenty of threads on this but i'm slightly confused as to what headunits would be suitable for what i want.

i've read that alpine are good and are compatible with the stalk controls and the OEM display. Does anyone have any model numbers etc for HU's that they've got and reviews too.

All help appreciated, cheers
